some help with lush...

I got this Santa bath bomb in a set for Christmas this is actually my first lush product!!!!! I didn't know if you are meant to put the whole thing into one bath or you are meant to brake it up as it seemed rather big, I opted to brake it up which I has difficulty with and resorted to cutting it with a very sharp knife, I also mad a terrible mess ..............

Was I right to do this is, is this what you are meant to do????
Also as I have herd so much about lush and want to dip into their product some time soon, would any body be able to give me any recommendations? for example if you could only buy 3 things from lush what would they be?? xXx

  2. Hi :)
I usually break my bombs/bubble bars up too but you can use them whole if you are feeling indulgent. Welcome to the world of lush btw.
My three must-have products would be:
    * A massage bar (I love soft coeur). I use them as a moisturiser every night and they are fab!
    * Lemony Flutter- great cream for winter hands; and
    * Blue Skies & Fluffy White Clouds bubble bar...my favourite!

  3. I would just use it in the chunk sizes you have. I usually split both bombs into two. My three must haves are:
    Herbalism Cleanser
    Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter
    Flying Fox Shower Gel

Also, Aqua Marina Cleanser....sorry just couldn't stop at three.

  4. I break up the bubble bars but not the ballistics, it just depends how hard they are to break though!! I'm pretty new to Lush too, and they've just bought a set out for £12.50 which is great if you want to try a few diff bits out but not pay full price :)

I love the Big shampoo, Let Them Eat Cake lip balm and the Butterball ballistic best out of all the things I've used so far.

  5. yes you can easily break them apart, you just have to cut it a little bit on the weakest point (usually the line that goes around the bath bomb)and then put a flat head screw in the cut you made and then hit it down with a hammer..if my explanation didn't make sense then there are a lot of youtube videos showing it
