L'Oreal Top Coat Confettis Review...

I Love this new top coat from L'Oreal called Confettis I personally think it makes my nails look like speckled eggs and can't wait to try this out over multicoloured pastel nails in the hope it looks like Cadburys mini eggs! I picked this up for £4.99 in Boots and am wearing it over Rimmel 60 second in the colour 405 Rose Libertine, which I am on my second bottle of.

Boujois 1 second nail polish remover review...

So the above picture shows what my life has consisted of over the past few weeks. Last week I had 4 exams in a row which was more of an endurance test as well as memory test. My next and last exam is over 2 weeks away so I have treated myself to a whole day of Desperate Housewives (please let Tom and Lynette have a happy ending!)

This was a little blog induced purchase, I have seen it so many times on blog's and it sounded like a fantastic idea. So I just want to put my two pennies worth in. This product really does make polish removal very easy, pop your finger in twist is against the sponge and 'ta-dah' polish gone.

You do have to wash you hand after as your fingers feel quite oily which is not a bad thing as its obviously not too bad your nails. When you remove the lid you get a very strong nail varnish remover smell which could maybe knock a small animal out. It retails for £4.99 which I guess it a lot when you can pick up a whole bottle of remover and cotton pads for around £2.

I will be interested to see how long a tube lasts me. I will also be interested to see how it fairs when removing glitter polishes. Overall I am very happy with my new gimmicky purchase.

Hope everyone is having a lovely chilled Sunday x

Haul 9 and NOTD

If you read my last post you know that I was going into town to do a bit of shopping to pick me up. Here is what I got half planed half unplanned.

The blushers is NO.17 in "Bramble frost" it is more of a pale pink highlight than a blush and this is the reason I brought it as I am not a huge fan of blush. I then picked up the Hyped up Revelon photo finish foundation in "002 vanilla" possibly a bit light for my NC20 skin but nothing a dusting of Bronzer won't fix. I then picked up L'oreals lash serum as I wish to strengthen my eyelashes as I feel always rubbing them at night to get my mascara off must batter them a bit.

on to the polishes....

Revlons "031 lilac pastelle" , NO.17 "fairy cake", NO.17 "sherbet lemon" and finally Beauty UK "neon pink".

Hear are the swatches for the polishes.........

neon pink, lilac pastelle, sherbet lemon and fairy cake.

and here is what i decided on for my nails today, I wish I had kept them short though.

Max Factor goodies

Boots are doing an offer at the moment were you spend £15 on Max factor and get a free gift. I fancied a change from liquid foundation and having to apply it so wanted to try their miracle touch compact foundation. I also herd really good things about their facefinity compact powder and as i had run out of my benefit one and this was half the price i thought i would give it a go.

I got the powder in 02 ivory and the foundation in creamy ivory 40. I'm an NC20 in summer and NC15 in winter.

In side the gift was

  • kole pencil in black
  • nail polish in disco pink
  • lipstick in 510 English rose
  • marsterpice mascara
  • lasting performance foundation
  • voucher for £2 off their new mascara
  • 2 samples of their new second skin foundation

I think this is such a good gift so just thought i would share it with you as i was so excited :D xXx

NOTD

This is Barry M in 119 baby pink, i love the colour however you need 3-4 coats to get the colour in the bottle so you do get anoying dents in it where u nocked it before all 4 coasts are dry. But when i cba to do it i love the overal finish!!!

No.7 part 2..

from left to right we have a concealer, tinted moisturiser, skin illuminator and a colour correcting make up base. I don't like the tinted mostriser as it leaves you skin really shinny and converge is very poor it also does not moisturise. I have been loving the skin Illuminator at the moment and am using it by mixing a big blog of it into my foundation before applying to my face and it makes me look lovely and awake :D

From top to bottom we have the colour calming base, tinted moisturiser, skin illuminator.

With the NO.7 voucher these polishes are only £1.25 such a barging so if you don't know what to spend you voucher on make sure you pick up one of these.

I'm not the impressed with the mascaras max factor is certainly a lot better , the Extravagant lashes mascara with the square brush is certainly in my opinion a gimmick and not very good.

part 3 coming tomorrow :D

collection 2000 polish rave

just love the colour of these three polishes and they don't chip easily. You only need 2 coast to really get the colour to look like it is in the bottle. The price is also fantastic at under £2. I only have 3 of them but am seriously considering picking up some more.
from left to right we have Button moon 33, Dynasty 35 , Wham 27
